Sheltair and the Ocala International Airport are excited to announce the 3rd Annual – 5k Run on the Runway taking place on March 22, 2025! The 5k Run on the Runway will benefit local heroes within the community.

🎖️ Charitable Contribution

Proceeds from the event will benefit heroes from various 501c3 organizations within our local community.

• Early Registrations: The first 200 registered runners will receive a 5k run T-shirt.
• Chip-Timed Results: Each finisher will receive accurately chip-timed results, with finisher's medals for the top 100 runners who cross the finish line.
• Awards: Overall Male and Female awards will also be presented.
• Charity Focus: Awards are capped to maximize proceeds for charitable organizations.

👕 Participating Rewards

The first 200 registered runners will receive a Sheltair Run the Runway 5k run T-shirt. Each finisher will receive accurately chip-timed results, with finisher's awards for the top 100 runners who cross the finish line.

Overall Male and Female awards will also be presented, capping at that level to put even more proceeds into the charitable organizations!

📦 Pre Race Packet Pickup

Pre Race Packet Pickup will be FRIDAY, MARCH 21 at the 1200 SW 60th Avenue Ocala, FL 34474, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Packet Pickup will also be held RACE DAY, beginning at 5:45 AM.

🏅 Awards Information

The first 100 finishers will receive a finisher's medal, and the Overall Male and Overall Female will also be awarded. Awards are capped at those levels to maximize the amount of money donated to the race's charitable partners.
