2025 Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl 10K RUN, 5k Walk/Run, and 1/2 Mile Kids Dash

🏃‍♂️ 5th Annual Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl

Join us in Jonesboro, Maine on Saturday, June 21 for the 5th Annual Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl 10K RUN, 5K walk/run & Kids Dash!

🌊 Event Details

• 10K RUN: Part of the route being on a trail that will lead to beautiful views of Maine's scenic coastline. This is a RUN only event.
• Kids Dash: Starts at 7:30 AM (capped at 50 participants).
• 5K & 10K: Both events start at 8:00 AM.
• Virtual Participants: Packets will be mailed to you. No in-person pickup.

📍 Race Location

• Location: Municipal Landing on Evergreen Point Road in Jonesboro.

🏞️ Race Course

• Kids Dash: An out and back route on a dead end road with scenic views of the Chandler River.
• 5K Walk/Run: Also an out and back route on a dead end road with scenic views of the Chandler River.
• 10K RUN: An out and back route on a dead end road with views of the Chandler River and Chandler Bay. Includes a trail loop.

🎽 What You Get

• Race Goody Bags: The first 100 participants for both the 5K & 10K will receive a race goody bag.
• Kids Dash: Will receive a bib, medal, and cotton shirt. This race will be FREE for the first 50 participants!
• Custom Bibs: Register before April 1, 2025 to receive a custom race bib with your name.
• Anniversary Shirt: Register by April 18, 2025 for a special edition 5th Anniversary shirt.

🏅 Awards

• Overall Winners: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for male & female.
• Age Groups: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for male and female in various age groups from 14 and under to 90+.

🎉 Fun Stuff

• Lobster Attire: Wear your best lobster attire to enter the "lobster lover lottery."
• Volunteers: The entire event is powered by local businesses and volunteers.
• Fundraising: Create a fundraiser page: top fundraisers will be recognized.
• Honor & Remember: Make a poster to honor someone affected by cancer.

❤️ Why Crush Cancer?

The Crush Cancer 5K race was created in honor of John Hodgson, who was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The goal is to unite those affected by cancer and support each other while raising funds for non-profits that assist families navigating cancer diagnoses.

This charity race is sponsored by local non-profit, Jonesboro Grange #357. All money raised will be presented to:

• The Christine B Foundation
