2025 Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl 10K RUN, 5k Walk/Run, and 1/2 Mile Kids Dash

Join us in Jonesboro, Maine on Saturday, June 21 for the 5th Annual Crush Cancer Lobster Crawl 10K RUN, 5K walk/run & Kids Dash!

🌄 Race Details

• 10K RUN: A RUN only event with scenic views on a part of the route being on a trail.
• 5K Walk/Run: Walkers must register for this event.
• Kids Dash: Starts at 7:30 AM (capped at 50 participants).
• Race Start Time: 10K & 5K walk/run starts at 8:00 AM.

📍 Race Location

Race location: Municipal Landing on Evergreen Point Road in Jonesboro.

🏞️ Race Course

• Kids Dash: An out and back route on a dead-end road with scenic views of the Chandler River.
• 5K Walk/Run: Similar out and back route as Kids Dash with scenic views.
• 10K RUN: Offers never before views of the Chandler River and Chandler Bay, includes a trail loop.

🎽 Bibs, Shirts, Medals, & Race Packets

• Goody Bags: First 100 participants for both 5K & 10K will receive a race goody bag.
• Kids Dash: Participants receive a bib, medal, and cotton shirt, and the kids run will be FREE for 50 participants!
• Custom Bibs: Register before April 1, 2025 for a custom race bib.
• Medals: Register before May 1 to receive a participation medal.

☔ Important Guidelines

Race is held rain or shine! No refunds and no bib transfers.

👶 Kids Dash

The Kids Dash will be a 1k distance (about .62 miles) and will NOT be timed. No awards for the kids run.

🏆 Awards

Awards for the 5K & 10K will be:

• Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place (male & female).
• Age Groups: Winners for various age groups.

Collecting wishlist items for Sarah's House, with a table set for item donations near check-in.

Wear your best lobster attire for a chance to win a fun prize!

💰 Fundraising

Create a fundraiser page! The top fundraising team and individual will be recognized.

Honor or remember your loved ones with posters along the course, to be turned in by June 19, 2025.

💙 Why Crush Cancer?

This race was created by siblings Rebekah Hodgson & Andrew Cox to honor their father, John, a cancer survivor. All proceeds are donated to local non-profits aiding families in their cancer journey.

🏅 Race Beneficiaries

This charity race is sponsored by local non-profit, Jonesboro Grange #357. All money raised will be presented to Sarah's House of Maine and the Christine B Foundation.
