Event Details

• Course: The "Sham Rock and a Hard Place 5K" features a course with varying degrees of elevation across the PCTI campus.
• Acceptable Pace: Both jogging and walking are viable options on this "hard place".
• Facility: The PCTI campus is closed to traffic, ensuring a safe environment for participants.
• Warm Congregation Area: A warm space is available before and after the race, especially if it’s chilly.

Amenities Provided

• Refreshments: Hot Bagels, Fruit, Hot Chocolate, Bottled Water (Sponsored by OrangeTheory - Wayne, NJ).
• Awards: Age Group Awards with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed medals for categories including 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, and beyond.
• Participation: The 19 & Under age group might be divided based on actual participation.
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will be split 50/50 between the PCTI and STEM Academy PTSOs.
