Big Beach Marathon, Half Marathon & Safari 5K

🏖️ Race Overview

You are invited to join us for the Big Beach in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama the weekend of January 24th & 25th, 2026. The courses are scenic, flat and fast running on the fully paved trails through Gulf State Park.

🏁 Marathon & Half Marathon

• Date: Sunday, January 25, 2026
• Location: Start and finish located beachside at the Hangout.
• Views: Enjoy stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach.
• Celebration: A gorgeous backdrop for your race weekend that brings runners back year after year.

🐬 Safari 5K & Family Fun Run/Walk

• Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
• Participation: Opportunity for those not up to a marathon or half marathon.
• Challenges: Take on the Shark or Dolphin challenge by participating in the 5K Saturday and the Full or Half Marathon Sunday!
• Rewards: Challengers receive all the swag from both races PLUS a third challenge medal, extra beer tickets, and the ultimate in bragging rights.

🥳 Post-Race Celebration

• After Party: All race participants are welcome to The Hangout after party on Sunday to celebrate!
• Food & Drinks: Participants will receive post-race food, beer and a great time near the beautiful Gulf Shores Beach!
• Community: We can’t wait to see you at Big Beach!
