Join us on July 12, 2025 at the Hammond Historical Museum in Hammond, NY for the Hammond Scottish Festival 5K Kilt Run/Walk.

🕒 Registration Information

• Deadline: Online registration closes on July 10th but you may register the morning of the race.
• T-shirt: If you would like a t-shirt, please register by Friday, July 4th.

👦📅 Youth Division (Ages 7-12)

• Registration Period: 2/1-4/30 ($10)
• Late Registration: 5/1-7/12 ($15)

👨‍🦰💸 Adult Division (Ages 13+)

• Early Registration: 2/1-2/28 ($20)
• Registration: 3/1-3/31 ($25)
• Late Registration: 4/1-4/30 ($30)
• Final Registration: 5/1-7/12 ($35)

🎁 Registration Perks

• T-shirt Offer: Register by Friday, July 4th and receive a free T-shirt ($15 value).
• Scottish Festival Ticket: All registered participants receive a free admission ticket to the Scottish Festival ($10 Value).
• Beverages: Provided after the race for all of our “Bravehearts” by our race sponsor, Ogdensburg Pepsi Cola Bottlers.
• Prizes: Special prize for first female and male adult and first female and male youth to cross the Finish Line. Prizes donated by race sponsor QT Laser & Design, Ogdensburg.

🏆 Grand Prize Drawing

• Participants: The first 100 registrants in EACH division are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
• Adult Division Prize: $100 Cash donated by Yesteryear's Vintage Doors, Hammond.
• Youth Division Prize: Pizza Package donated by Ogdensburg Pizza Hut.
• Drawing Time: Immediately following the race. Must be present to win!

⚠️ Important Race Details

• Event Type: This is a non-competitive event and times will be provided at the Finish Line.
• Kilt Requirement: Don’t forget your kilt! Every runner/walker MUST wear a kilt that is tartan, has an apron front and a pleated back.
• Check-in: Starts at 7:45 a.m. at the museum: the race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. A Bagpiper will lead everyone to the Starting Line!
• Race Route: The race starts at the museum and winds through beautiful farmland and past original stone houses built by Scottish settlers.

• NEW: Scottish Immersion Tent (Gaelic, penny whistle, Scottish country dancing and Hurdy-gurdy workshops, local Scottish stone house history, Hammond Tartan displays, and clan information)
• And watch the very popular Highland Games!
