• Event: Vilano Bridge 5K & 10K Run
• Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• Time: 5K & 10K at 8 AM, 1 Mile Family Fun Run immediately after.

Race Overview

• Celebration: Celebrating 29 years, the Vilano Bridge Run invites runners and families to enjoy scenic courses starting at the Vilano Beach Community Center and Park.
• Courses: Both the 5K and 10K routes wind through the picturesque Vilano Beach community, crossing the scenic Vilano Bridge with its sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway and surrounding beaches.
• 10K Route: The 10K course continues through the beautiful grounds of the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind campus.
• Finish Line: Both races conclude at the North Shores Community Park, where participants can enjoy a post-race celebration featuring food, beer, and music.

Awards and Perks

• T-Shirts: Colorful T-Shirts are guaranteed for those who register by March 8th.
• Medals: Medals will be awarded to all 5K and 10K finishers, along with age group awards.
• Free Beer: 5K and 10K participants receive one free beer.
• Fun Run: Immediately following the 5K is the 1 Mile Fun Run with medals for all finishers.

Community Support

• Projects: This community event supports North Shores community projects.
• Donation: A portion of the registration proceeds is donated to the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind.
• Party in the Park: The celebration includes a “Party in the Park” with music, food and other items for purchase.
• Family Activities: Plus games and activities for kids. Families are welcome.
