PRTC Rice Run

🏃‍♂️ Join us for the 2025 PRTC Rice Run!

The Rice Run is an annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by the Colleton County Rice Festival and Presented by Palmetto Rural Telephone Coop.

🏅 5K Run

• Distance: A scenic 3.1 mile race through a quaint, downtown neighborhood and Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary.
• Course: The course starts with a gradual incline, turns into a winding, paved nature trail followed by a few rolling hills, and ends with a flat decline.
• Certification: Course Certification Code SC22009BW

🏆 Awards

• Cash Prizes: As always, there are CASH PRIZES for our top placers!
• 1st Place: 5K Overall Male & Female: $150 each
• 2nd Place: 5K Overall Male & Female: $75 each
• 3rd Place: 5K Overall Male & Female: $50 each

1st Place Only 5K Masters Male & Female: $50 each, ...and top 3 age group awards for each decade from 12U-70+

🎉 1 Mile Fun Run

• For Everyone: For all ages, runners and walkers — the Fun Run is just that — for FUN!
• No Awards: It is not a race, so no placements or individual awards will be given.

All participants, 5K & 1 Mile, will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal!
