🤝 Purpose of the 5K
The profession of nursing is often one that is self-less, however, research tells us that when we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others. The idea for the 5K came about from the desire to promote wellness, comradery and joy amongst the Caregivers of ChristianaCare.
- Commitment: To our patients, our colleagues and ourselves.
- Inspiration: Inspire healthy lifestyles, work life balance and teamwork.
- Event: A fun and exciting event for ChristianaCare caregivers and their families and friends.
- Participation: Whether you choose to run or walk, we are hopeful to make this year's Nurses Week 5K one of our best yet.

- Event Cost: This year's event is free: however, we encourage donations.
- Donate: All donations this year will be going to Nurses House - a nurse-managed, nonprofit organization helping nurses in need across the United States.
