Celebrate the rich history of one of South Jersey's oldest towns as you run the quiet streets of Greenwich New Jersey. The route takes you through scenic farmland and past quaint historical buildings. The race starts and ends at the Gibbon House. Proceeds from the race help support the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Finisher Medals and Shirts are included with registration. Sign up by 4/10 to be guaranteed a shirt.
The society has preserved 18th century buildings and has organized a walking tour that brings to life the unhurried atmosphere of Old Greenwich, site of New Jersey's Tea Party. Come visit the town that time forgot. See the Tea Burner’s Monument (Market Ln. & Ye Greate St., Greenwich), 1730 Gibbon House Museum, Red Barn Museum, Swedish Log Granary, Maritime Museum, Prehistorical Museum, and Lummis Genealogical and Research Library. Spend the day or an afternoon learning about the region and times gone by.
After the race, we will have a gourmet hot dog on site. We also encourage you to enjoy the numerous local museums.
