Race Overview
- Description: Celebrate the rich history of one of South Jersey's oldest towns as you run the quiet streets of Greenwich New Jersey. The route takes you through scenic farmland and past quaint historical buildings. The race starts and ends at the Gibbon House. Proceeds from the race help support the Cumberland County Historical Society.
- Post-Race Activities: After the race stick around for the awards and post race party. We will have a food truck on site. We also encourage you to visit some of the wonderful museums the town has to offer.
- Kickoff: This race will kick off the opening weekend of 2026. We will have giveaways and free tours.
- New Distance: This year we added a 13.1 distance.
Course Details
- Elevation: Courses are flat and fast. Only 92 ft of elevation on the 10 miler and 123 ft on the half!
- Awards: Top 3 male and female overall.
- Age Groups: Age group awards (under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
- Finisher Medals: Medals and shirts included with registration (sign up by 4/1 to be guaranteed a shirt).
Race Day Schedule
- Parking: Parking will be at the library at 981 Ye Greate St. It is about 500 ft from the start area.
- 7:30: Check-in Starts.
- 8:30: 13.1, 10 mile/10k starts.
- 8:35: 5k/1 mile starts.
- Award Ceremonies: Awards will begin as each race finishes.
- Post-Race: Post race party with food and drinks.
Charity Partner
- Organization: Cumberland County Historical Society. The society has preserved 18th century buildings and has organized a walking tour that brings to life the unhurried atmosphere of Old Greenwich, site of New Jersey's Tea Party.
- Historical Sites: Visit the Tea Burner’s Monument, 1730 Gibbon House Museum, Red Barn Museum, Swedish Log Granary, Maritime Museum, Prehistorical Museum, and Lummis Genealogical and Research Library.
- Experience: Spend the day or an afternoon learning about the region and times gone by.
- Post-Race Activities: After the race we will have a food truck on site. We also encourage you to enjoy the numerous local museums.
