• Event: 16th annual “Half Marathon”, 10k, and 5k run/walk

Purpose of the Race

• Recognition: Honoring the nineteen brothers and one sister who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001.
• Location: The race course is located in Oklahoma City, OK, at the OKC river trail to facilitate a larger participant population.
• Honoring Fallen Heroes: The twenty fallen heroes will be honored individually with recognition at the Starting Line, each mile marker, and at the finish line.
• Tribute: A banner will be placed at each of the 15 points highlighting one of the warriors with a photo and a brief bio detailing their lives and sacrifices.
