• Date: 2026-08-15
• Location: 55 Chicago Street, Buffalo, NY
• Registration: Packet pickup and race day registration will be from 4-6 inside Resurgence Brewing in the beer garden.
• Start Times:
  • Kids: 6:00 PM
  • All Women: 6:20 PM
  • All Men: 6:40 PM

Race Experience

• Challenge Yourself: Have you ever run a mile as fast as you can? This is your chance to compete with the best.
• Community Event: Join the Buffalo running community for a fast and fun mile race through the heart of the Old First Ward.
• Post-Race Gathering: After the race, swing by Resurgence and enjoy some cold beverages with your best mates.
• Sign Up: Make sure to sign up by July 16 to ensure a race shirt! We will have a small amount of shirts after for sale.

Prizes and Awards

• Custom Prizes: Custom prizes for the winners.
• Prize Money: Prize money paid only to USATF Niagara association members that win.
• Course Record Bonus: A $100 course record bonus is available.
• Series Participation: This race is part of the USATF Niagara runner of the year series and Buffalo runner of the year series, with heats split by gender and a separate kids race.

Charitable Goal

• Scholarships: The goal is to raise money for 2 scholarships awarded in 2027.
• Youth Scholarship: One scholarship for a youth to attend 1 week of Snyder Track and Field Summer camp.
• High School Scholarship: One scholarship for a high schooler to attend Blue Mountain XC camp for one week.
• Support Local Athletes: Help foster the next generation of athletes through your participation.
