Mother Lover 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

🍷 Race Overview

Do you like wine? Do you like cake? Most importantly, do you love your Mom? If you answered “YES!” to any of these questions, then come run this Mother Lover! Please join us for our first annual Mother’s Day race, “The Mother Lover” 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Cake Walk! This event will kick off Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. It is an off road course which will run through the beautiful countryside of Rutland Farms and is designed to be more fun than fast.

🏃 5K Race Details

• Participants: 5K Runners (age 21 & older)
• Experience: Set up like a wine tasting on the go, we will have several stops stationed along the course where you can sample some of our best local wines here in South Georgia along with some sweet treats from our farm bakery.
• Start Time: The 5K will kick off at 10:00 a.m.
• Awards: Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers.

🥳 1 Mile Fun Run/Cake Walk

• Participants: 1 Mile Fun Run/Cake Walk
• Experience: Throughout the course, runners/walkers will get to visit stations and taste test some of our most popular homemade cakes fresh from the bakery here at Rutland Farms.
• Start Time: The 1 mile fun run will begin shortly thereafter, at 11:00 a.m.
• Family Friendly: Both races are meant to bring together mothers, daughters, sons, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and really whoever you want to bring to celebrate that special someone in your life this Mother's Day!

💵 Registration Fees

• 5K Participants:
  • Adults (21 & older): $40 (includes short sleeved t-shirt & race course wine tasting)
  • Adults: $35 (includes only short sleeved t-shirt)
  • Group Registration (3 or more in group): $35 (includes short sleeved t-shirt & race course wine tasting)
• 1 Mile Participants:
  • Adults: $30 (includes short sleeved t-shirt & race course cake tasting)
  • Children (12 & under): $25 (includes short sleeved t-shirt & race course cake tasting)
• Double Trouble: 5K & 1 Mile Participants (Includes Both Races)
  • Adults (21 & older): $60 (includes short sleeved t-shirt & race course wine tasting(5K) & cake tasting(1Mile))
  • Adults: $55 (includes only short sleeved t-shirt & cake tasting (non alcoholic))

*Registrations past May 1st will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

*This is a trail run and strollers are welcome but jogging strollers are encouraged due to the terrain.

Race will take place on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at THE MARKET AT RUTLAND FARMS in Tifton, GA.

• 5K: May 10th 10:00 a.m. - Runners please report a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the race for check-in.
• 1 Mile: May 10th 11:00 a.m. - Runners please report a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the race for check-in.
• Awards: Medals awarded to top 2 finishers in each race.
• Amenities: Custom designed Short Sleeved T-shirts guaranteed (adult & children sizes) to pre-registrants prior to May 1st: post registrants while supplies last.
