Gator Gallop 5K

The Course

• Type: The 5K is a flat road race around scenic Lake Quannapowitt.
• Start/Finish: Begins and ends at the lower common.
• Children's Event: The Kids 1-Mile Fun Run is for children ages 10 and under.
• Notes: Parents do not run the 1-mile: may not be appropriate for children under age 5.

Facilities

• Restrooms: Port-a-potties will be available for the race.

Proceeds

• Beneficiaries: Proceeds benefit the Greenwood School PTO and the Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF).
• About PTO: Funds classroom supplies, books for the library, STEAM resources, and events.
• About WEF: Supports hands-on learning that is unobtainable within the current budget.

• Check-in and Registration: 8:15 AM
• Warm Up for Kids: 8:30 AM
• Children's 1-Mile Fun Run: 9 AM
• 5K Start: 9:30 AM
• Awards: 10:30 AM

Directions & Parking

• Location: The race begins at Wakefield's lower common on Lake Quannapowitt.
• Intersections: Main Street and Church Street.

Current Greenwood Students

• Registration: Current Greenwood School students should register through the race webpage to run in the 1-Mile race and fundraise.

Sponsorship

• Donations: An additional donation may be made through the registration form.
• Sponsorship Opportunity: For $100 or more, go to the Sponsorship page on GatorGallop.com.
• Recognition: Ensure you are recognized on materials and/or with race entry credits.
