We are sorry to announce: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2025 Race for Your Heart 5K has been cancelled for this year. We hope to bring it back in the future. For those who registered a full refund will be made. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund.
❤️ Event Overview
Join the Riverside Community for a 5K bringing attention to and supporting the American Heart Association at the Race For Your Heart 5K and Fun Run!
- Fact: Did you know that around 700,000 people die from heart diseases in the U.S. every year?
- Global Impact: 18 million people die from heart attacks around the world each year, including my father, Chad Parello who passed away September 27, 2020.
- Focus: Cardiovascular diseases take the lead for the highest cause of death globally.
- Goal: I am hosting this charity race to raise funding to support further studies for the American Heart Association.
🏃♂️ Race Details
Race for your Heart 5K will be held, Sunday, May 18 starting at 9:00 am at Riverside HS (19019 Upper Belmont Place, Lansdowne, VA 20176). The 5K will run around the campus, concluding at the school.
💵 Registration Information
Registration is $25 through race day.
📦 Packet Pickup
Race Packets can be picked up at the the PR Store at One Loudoun (20436 Exchange St. Ashburn, VA 20147) on Saturday, May 17 from 1-3pm and then at the Race Site (Riverside High School) starting at 8:00 am on Race Day.
- T-Shirt: Each participant registered by May 1 will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, others will be first come, first served.
🏆 Awards
Awards will be given to the top two overall male and female finishers and top male and female finisher in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
