The Heroes Against Diabetes Run/Walk is more than just a race, it’s a movement to raise awareness and provide critical support for diabetes prevention and management in Kenya. Every stride you take helps fund education, early detection, and life-saving resources for needy communities.

Race Details

• Events: 5K & 1-Mile Walk
• Participation: Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or just want to take a meaningful stroll, we’ve got something for you.
• Location: Set in the heart of Wolflin, Amarillo, our route winds through wide, tree-lined streets and charming historic homes in a neighborhood full of heart.
• Atmosphere: Expect a lively, supportive atmosphere with fellow runners and walkers rallying for a great cause—fighting diabetes in Kenya.

• Awards: Awards for 1st place finishers
• Participant Gear: Race bibs and event T-shirts for all registered participants
• Hydration: Water stations along the course to keep you hydrated
• Celebration: Post-race celebration with music, refreshments, and plenty of good vibes

Packet Pickup and Registration

• Packet Pickup: Swing by GetFit (1911 S Georgia St, Amarillo, TX 79109) on Friday, March 13th from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM to grab your race bib and T-shirt early.
• Race Day Registration: Closes at 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 14.
• Online Registration: Ends at 11:59 PM on Friday, March 13—so don’t wait!
