Beneficiaries: All funds raised in excess of expenses will be divided equally between two organizations: The National Guard Association of Tennessee and Lantern Lane Farm Counseling.
Tax-Deductible: All registrants have the opportunity to help fundraise for this event. DONATIONS ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.

🤝 Teams
Relay Teams: There are 4 member RELAY TEAM registrations available for the 8-Hour Ultra.
Participation: You can pick either run/walk or ruck.
Team Format: 1 person on each team runs/walks or rucks at a time.
🎒 Info for the Ruckers
Equipment: You need to wear (bring your own) a rucksack/backpack with ruck plates/sandbags, etc or a weighted vest.
Weight Guidelines: If you are 151 lbs or greater, the pack/vest needs to weigh 20 lbs.
Check-in: You and your pack/vest will be weighed at check-in and at the finish.

Timing System: This is a chip-timed race.

6:30am: Packet pick-up Begins
7:50am: Announcements, Color Guard & National Anthem
8:00am: 5k, 10k, and 8-hour participants all begin
4:00pm: 8-Hour Race Ends

🌳 Course Description & Weather
Loop Course: The 0.8 mile loop is paved and circles around the beautiful Granny White Park.
Loops: The 5k will be 4 loops (3.2 miles), and the 10k will be 8 loops (6.4 miles).
Weather: Temperatures range widely in the first half of November, with the past few years seeing temps from the 30s to the 60s.
🧊 Aid Station
Facilities: 1 Aid Station on the course providing water and Gatorade.
Medical Support: There will also be a nurse and medical supplies on-site.
Lunch: A large pavilion nearby will serve lunch for the 8-hour participants.
Rest Area: Bring a chair or blanket to rest if you plan to take breaks.
