👥 Teams
Relay Teams: 4 member RELAY TEAM registrations available for the 8-Hour Ultra.
Team Structure: 1 person on each team runs/walks or rucks at a time.

Equipment: Bring your own rucksack/backpack or a weighted vest.
Weight Requirements: 20 lbs for 151 lbs or greater, 10 lbs for 150 lbs or less.
Check-In: You and your pack/vest will be weighed at check-in and at the finish.

Race Type: This is a chip-timed race.
🎽 What is Included?
For 5k and 10k: Race t-shirt (while supplies last), race bib, and medal.
For 8-hour participants: Includes race t-shirt, race bib, medal, and lunch.
📅 Race-Day Schedule
6:30 am: Packet pick-up Begins
7:50 am: Announcements, Color Guard & National Anthem
8:00 am: 5k, 10k, and 8-hour participants all begin
4:00 pm: 8-Hour Race Ends

🌳 Course Description & Weather
Loop Length: The 0.8 mile loop is paved and circles around the beautiful Granny White Park.
Distance: 5k is 4 loops, 10k is 8 loops: the 8-hour ultra will depend on number of loops completed.
Terrain: The course has a few gentle hills.
Weather: Temperatures can range from the 30s to the 60s in early November.
💧 Aid Station
Availability: There will be 1 Aid Station on the course providing water and Gatorade.
Medical Support: A nurse and medical supplies will be on-site.
Lunch: Served for the 8-hour participants mid-day.
Rest Areas: Bring a chair or blanket to rest on: canopies/tents can be set up.
