🇺🇸 The Dunedin Veterans Day Runs

Join us as we celebrate and run with the most patriotic Americans in Florida's most amazing downtown of Dunedin, FL on Sunday November 9, 2025, for the best Veterans Day 5K, 10K and kids dash runs in Florida where we will celebrate veterans from across the world who have served and are still serving the US military. We are proud to announce each of those you hold in your heart for this event so bring a post it or tell us their name and service when you arrive!

🏃‍♀️ Event Location

• Start/Finish: Across from downtown near the VFW at the Dunedin Hale Center
• Address: 330 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698
• Nearby: Directly across the street from Dunedin Stadium
• Photo Ops: Great locations available for memorable photos

🥇 Medals and Awards

The finishers medals are all American themed and outstanding as this is a great way to commemorate those whom YOU LOVE who have served our great nation.

👶 Kid's Dash

• Time: 8:10 a.m. - children and parents will be called out
• Separation: Children are divided by size and are never out of sight
• Stroller Friendly: Parents are welcome to run with kids and strollers
• Capture the Moment: Have your cell phone and camera ready!

🏅 Race Details

The 10K is a 2 loop course of the 5K route set for perfect 10K distance and popular to those runners training for larger or more competitive races. The 5K run/walk will begin also on the fully paved Pinellas Trail 2 minutes after the 10K AT 8:30 a.m.

👕 Participant Perks

• Finisher's Medal: Each registrant will receive a BEAUTIFUL and substantial American finisher's medal
• Framed Awards: Top 15 males and females in the 5K will receive framed awards
• Promotional Shirt: All 5K and 10K runners will receive a RUN FLORIDA shirt at check-in
• Results: Available after the race on www.727CanRace.com

📧 Pre-Race Information

An email will be sent to all registrants the day prior to the event by 4 pm with your bib number assignment and parking and arrival instructions for an easy check-in on race day only. If you do not receive this email the day before the race by 4 pm please text Suzanne at 727-226-7223/727-CAN-RACE and we'll get it immediately over to a correct email address.

🛣️ Course Safety

This is a co-sponsored event with the City of Dunedin, and law enforcement will be positioned at each intersection along the fully paved Pinellas Trail in an out-and-back course. Each of you will be running or walking through the most beautiful part of North Pinellas in downtown Dunedin, Florida.

🚗 Parking Information

• Free Parking: Available at the Hale Center and the Dunedin Library
• Email Reminder: Email will go out the day before the race with bib number assignment and final arrival instructions
• Celebrate: A successful morning where we celebrate many who have served in all branches of the US military, law enforcement, fire rescue, and 1st responders
