• 5K Start Time: 8:10 a.m.
• Location: 1112 Maple Street, Ashland, VA

Race Description

• Experience: Get ready to lace up your running shoes and experience the thrill of running or walking through the charming streets and scenic trails of Ashland, Virginia, on a beautiful fall day!
• Community Spirit: Hosted by the GFWC Ashcake Woman’s Club, this year's event promises fun, community spirit, and a chance to make a difference.
• Beneficiaries: All proceeds will benefit ACES (Ashland Christian Emergency Services), the Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad, and other local charities.
• Scenic Course: Start and finish at the picturesque Ashland Carter Park and enjoy stunning fall scenery.

Race Certification

• Certified Courses: Both the 10K (VA21018RT) and 5K (VA21016RT) courses are US Track & Field Certified.

Team Registration

• Form a Team: Gather your friends, family, or colleagues and form a team!
• Team Pricing: Team pricing kicks in at just $32.50 per person after three members have registered.
• More Participants: The more, the merrier!

Timing and Packet Pickup

• Professional Timing: Both the 5K and 10K events will be chip-timed by Commonwealth Timing.
• Packet Pickup: Packets can be picked up at the Patrick Henry YMCA on October 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Packets can also be picked up at Carter Park on race day from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM.
• Registration: Registrations accepted during packet pick-up or race day after October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Participant Perks

• Finisher's Medal: Participants will receive a finisher's medal.
• Race T-Shirt: A race t-shirt will be provided if registered by October 1, 2025.
• Entry for Prizes: Automatic entry for prizes on race day.
• Top Finishers: 10K and 5K participants will receive money and medals.
