Event Overview

Join us for FYMO’s 7th “Giving to Live” 5K Cancer Run/Walk — an inspiring and energetic event to honor, support, and celebrate those affected by cancer. Happening end of summer, this fun, family-friendly run/walk invites individuals, families, co-workers, and community groups to come together for a meaningful cause.

At the event, you’ll find educational resources about cancer awareness, opportunities to celebrate survivors, and moments to honor loved ones we’ve lost. All proceeds directly benefit cancer patients and those in recent remission!

If someone you know has been touched by cancer, we invite you to walk or run in their honor!

Where Your Support Goes

Fashion Your Mind Organization is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Funds raised are distributed directly to local and regional cancer patients to assist with:

• Medication costs: Assistance with the financial burden of necessary medication.
• Living expenses: Support to help cover home bill payments.
• Transportation needs: Helping patients reach their medical appointments.
• Supportive services: Providing various supportive services for patients.

Location: Los Alamitos Creek Trail at Almaden Lake Park, San Jose, CA

Highlights:

• Top 5 runners recognized: This is a non-competitive event.
• Individual and Team Fundraising Awards: Special recognition for those who make the extra effort.
• 1st Place Awards: Awards for Top Male & Female 5K Finishers.

Wellness Expo

• Vendor booths: Free screenings, information, and samples available.
• Entertainment: Fun activities for the whole family.
• Live music: Enjoy performances throughout the day.
• Children's craft activities: Engaging activities for kids.
• Kid’s Fun Run: For children ages 10 & under.
• Free T-shirts: Available while supplies last for participants.
• Raffle prizes: Exciting prizes to win!

Kids Fun Run

Children aged 10 and under are invited to join the Kid’s Fun Run! Every registered child will receive:

• A youth-size event T-shirt: To commemorate their participation.
• A fun craft: A creative activity they can take home.
• A special finisher’s prize: Everyone gets a reward for finishing.

Children who raise a minimum of $50 will earn an additional prize. Top youth fundraisers will win bonus prizes!
