Get ready to chase pumpkins and make memories at the 2nd Annual Mableton Pumpkin Chase 5K — a festive, family-friendly Halloween-themed race hosted by It Starts With Me 2! Whether you run, walk, or roll, this event is all about community, fitness, wellness, and fun.

What to Expect

• Scenic Course: A scenic course through the heart of Mableton.
• Finisher Medals: Finisher medals, event shirts, and of course… candy!
• Costume Fun: Come dressed in your favorite Halloween attire — prizes will be awarded for creativity!
• Entertainment: Music, entertainment, and family activities throughout the event.
• Community Favorites: Appearances from community favorites, superheroes, and maybe a few spooky surprises.

Wellness Village

The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. Stick around! There will be featured local health and fitness organizations, wellness professionals, and community resources, providing interactive demonstrations, giveaways, and activities designed to inspire healthy living for the entire family.

Post-Race Celebration

After you cross the finish line, the festivities continue with:

• Hay Rides: Hay rides around the amphitheatre grounds.
• Pumpkin Smash Zone: Enjoy the thrills in the pumpkin smash zone.
• Live Entertainment: Dance performances and live entertainment.
• Family Activities: Games, vendors, community partners, and family-friendly activities throughout the morning.

• Overall Winners: Overall Male & Female.
• Age Group Awards: 1st Place in each age group.

Packet Pickup

Pick up your race number early and avoid the crowd. Packet pickup will be Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Big Peach Running Co. - Vinings from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Then stick around for our shake-out run on the Silver Comet Trail.
