13th Annual Jamestown Rotary Club’s 5K Chicken Run and 1 Mile Fun Run.

Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 7:00 AM

Location: Fentress County Fairgrounds Main Gate, Jamestown, TN

Registration Fee: $20.00 Early Registration ends Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Note: T-shirts not guaranteed after early registration deadline.

Family Discount: $5.00 for each participant if you register 4 or more participants. (Select Multi-Person Pricing during the registration process)

🕖 Race Day Registration

Registration Time: 6:15 AM to 7:00 AM

Important: All participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult during the race.

🏆 Awards Information

• Overall Awards: Awards will be presented to the overall best time male and female runners.
• Age Categories: Top male and female runners in each age category will receive awards.
• Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the race.
• Participation Awards: All children registered under age of 10 will receive a participation award.

Note: Participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run will not be eligible for top awards.

👶 Age Divisions

• 1 Mile Fun Run: Any age
• 5K Walk/Run: 10-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-59, 60-70, 71+

🏁 Race Course

The course is 5K (3.2 miles). Race begins and ends at Fairgrounds Main Gate. From the Main Gate, turn left & go down Fairgrounds Rd, then turn right onto West Cove Rd. At the end of West Cove Rd, turn right onto Hwy 127 South. Continue South back to Fairgrounds Rd (across from SmartBank) and return to Fairgrounds Main Gate. Water will be available at midpoint and at the end of the race. Water and snacks will be available after the race.

🥇 1 Mile Fun Run Route

The route for the 1 Mile Fun Run will start at Fairgrounds Main Gate, go to the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and West Cove Road, and then return to Fairgrounds Main Gate. Water and snacks will be available at the end of the race.
