Shinnston Turkey Trot & Gobble Wobble

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Distance: This course is a 3.1-mile loop.
• Start: Runners/Walkers will begin on the road.
• Finish: The race will finish on the rail trail.
• Family Fun: Bring your family and friends!

👶 Event Schedule

• Kids Gobble Wobble: Begins at 8:50 AM.
• Runners and Walkers: Starts at 9 AM.
• Packet Pickup: Early pickup is on November 26 from 5 PM - 8 PM.
• Location: At the Shinnston Lighthouse on Rebecca Street.

💰 Prizes and Awards

• Cash Prizes: Awarded to the top three overall Male and Female finishers.
• 1st Place: $300.00
• 2nd Place: $200.00
• 3rd Place: $100.00

🎓 Scholarship Program

• Funds Allocation: The 2025 funds will support the Shinnston Turkey Trot Scholarship.
• Scholarship Amount: $1,000.00 for one male and one female high school senior.
• Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a cross-country or track-and-field program in West Virginia.
• Additional Support: Remaining funds will be allocated to projects in Shinnston.

🦃 Fun Events

• Turkey Cup: The biggest team will win the Turkey Cup!!!
• Costume Contest: Winners will be recognized along with some silly awards.

• 10 & Under: Male and Female categories.
• 11-13: Male and Female categories.
• 14-19: Male and Female categories.
• 20-29: Male and Female categories.
• 30-39: Male and Female categories.
• 40-49: Male and Female categories.
• 50-59: Male and Female categories.
• 60-69: Male and Female categories.
• 70-99: Male and Female categories.
