Bowdon Founders Day 5K

🏃‍♂️ 44th Annual Bowdon Founders Day Run

PRESENTED BY BOWDON MAIN STREET

Join us on Mainstreet to run a certified 5K route in Bowdon, GA. This is the longest standing 5K in West Georgia! So much fun packed in the day and we want you to join us.

📅 Event Details

• Date: SATURDAY, AUGUST 2, 2025
• Race Starting Time: 7:30 AM
• Registration: Same day registration begins at 6 AM
• Awards Presentation: At the back of the Bowdon Municipal Building, 182 Grammar School Rd.

💵 Registration Costs

• Cost: $30 for pre-registration
• Late Registration: $35 after July 18th (Early registration ends July 18)
• Early Registration: We encourage you to register early to avoid long lines and to reserve a T-shirt for that day.
• Packet Pickup: Pre-registered can pick up their registration packet on Friday, August 1, at God's Gym, 139 City Hall Ave, Ste A, Bowdon, GA, between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM.

🏆 Race Awards

Race Awards:

• 1ST Overall Male and Female
• Male and Female Master, Male and Female Grand Master
• Age Groups (Top 3 in each age group will receive awards): 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and Over
• Chip timing and results will be LIVE on race day.

📝 Registration Notes

• We no longer offer paper registration.
• We have moved to fully electronic registrations.
• Each participant must wear a number on the front of his or her shirt.
