Sandusky Run For Life 5K/1 Mile

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

You are invited to join us on Saturday, June 28th at the Diamond Trail for the 7th Annual Sandusky Run For Life 5K and 1 mile run/walk. The 5K RUN-RUN/WALK will begin at 8:00 AM, followed by the 1 mile RUN/WALK which will start at 8:05 AM.

• Registration Includes: A swag bag, T-shirt and a finisher medal: which will be given to all participants.
• Awards: See age group awards below: the 1 mile will not have age group awards, just overall for the men and women.

🚶‍♀️ 5K Walk Event

We have a competitive 5K WALK event. Participants MUST walk the entire 5K course and there will ONLY be First, Second and Third place awards for both male and female divisions. If you plan to run any of the 5K you must sign up for 5K RUN - RUN/WALK!

📅 Registration Details

• Registration Deadline: To guarantee a shirt, you MUST REGISTER by June 20th. If you sign up after that date you will not be guaranteed to receive a shirt.
• Early Bird Registration: Only $20 until April 15th. Register NOW to SAVE!
• Price Increase: $25 until May 31st, then increases to $30 after that.
• Online Registration: Will be open until the day before the race, ending at Noon on June 27th.

🏁 Same Day Registration

Same Day Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. The race will be timed and we will have age group awards for all 5K RUN-RUN/WALK participants.

🏅 Awards

• 1 Mile: First, Second and Third overall, Men and Women divisions - no age groups.
• 5K RUN: Age groups are 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 & 75 and Up.
• 5K WALK: First, Second and Third overall, Men and Women divisions - no age groups.
• Award Location: All race awards will be given out NEAR the Pavilion at the end of the 5K race.

🎽 Race Day Information

• Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:00 A.M. Participants will get a bib, swag bag and shirt upon check-in.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Water, Gatorade and pre-packaged snacks will be provided following the race.
• Parking: Available at the Diamond Trail with extra spots at the Maple Valley Community Center/ISD parking lot (Just North of the Diamond Trail).
• Course Preparation: Water may NOT be offered on the course. Please be prepared. We will proceed RAIN or SHINE, with possible delays if there is lightning.
