🎉 Event Overview

The Molokai Holokai Ho'olaule'a is a 2-day festival on the island of Molokai hosted by Youth in Motion and the Stand Up Paddle Association of Molokai.

• Race Lineup: MAUI TO MOLOKAI CHALLENGE- MOLOKAI HOLOKAI DAY 1 Friday 18th July 2025.
• Day 2 Events: KAMALO RUN (MOLOKAI HOLOKAI-DAY 2) Sat 19th July 2025.
• Mission Focus: Empower, Equip, Educate, Challenge, and Motivate Youth through activities that engage and develop their skills.
• Objective: The primary purpose of the event is to celebrate and inspire our youth in all that they do.

🌊 Race Details

Come join us for this event and be part of the movement to inspire our Youth, who deserve a celebration.

• Location: Friday's event starts from DT Fleming Beach on Maui.
• Race Length: Racers cross the Pailolo Channel in a 26-mile race open to all paddle craft and some wind craft.
• Safety Requirements: ESCORT BOATS ARE NOT REQUIRED, BUT SAFETY GEAR AND SAFETY JERSEYS ARE MANDATORY.
• Prizes: Prizes to the one who collects the most mangrove seeds and other invasive plants.

• Kamalo Downwinder: 10-mile race.
• Paddle Race: 5-mile paddle Race (tentative).
• Community Engagement: Cultural Workshops, Music, Local Food.
• Trash Art Contest: An engaging way to promote environmental awareness.

🧒 Age Categories

• Age Calculation: Will be calculated as age on event day.
• Juniors Defined: Juniors will be 17 years or younger on event day.

🌍 Global Participation

The Virtual Molokai Holokai Global Challenge is open anywhere on earth with water. Have some fun with your paddling and wind friends while we celebrate our youth here on Molokai and around the world.
