10th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us as we dash through historic Marietta Square for our 10th holiday 5K Walk / Run. Dashing through the Square is a Peachtree Qualifying Race featuring electronic chip timing to ensure accuracy for runners. This family friendly race will take you past beautiful, historic homes and the quaint shops that line Marietta Square. Not in Marietta, GA but you want to participate? Join our Virtual 5K! Proceeds from this event will support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County.

• Race Start Time: 7:30 AM EST
• Location: 50 N Park Square, Marietta, GA
• Sponsor: The PEARL Foundation, Inc. in collaboration with the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

🏅 Important Race Information

All 5K race participants will receive a high-quality runner's t-shirt and a commemorative medal. Award medals will be presented to 1st & 2nd place male and female finishers in the following age groups: 13 and under, 14-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & above.

🌐 Virtual 5K Participation

1. Description: A virtual race is designed to be 'raced' from ANY LOCATION at ANY TIME!
2. Course: You can run, jog or walk through streets, parks or trails in your neighborhood/community or even on your treadmill. Map out your 5K route and that will be your course.
3. Race Day: On race day, December 20, 2025, run, jog or walk your race!
4. Share Your Race: Post photos of you racing and tag us utilizing the hashtags on social media #ΡΖΩDASH2025 #PEARLDASH2025 #RhoZetaOmega
