Downingtown West Unite For HER 5K

Event Overview

Join us on May 3, 2026 for the Downingtown STEM Unite For HER 5K Run/Walk, a student-led fundraiser. It will be hosted at the Downingtown West High School Campus as we come together to support those affected by breast and ovarian cancers locally.

Why We Run/Walk

• Purpose: All proceeds will benefit Unite For HER, a non-profit that empowers patients.
• Support: Provides access to integrative therapies, services, education, and support.
• Impact: Resources that aren’t often covered by insurance, but make a meaningful difference in healing.
• Quality of Life: Contributions enhance the quality of life for those affected.

Event Highlights + Details

• Race Details: 5K run and walk at Downingtown West High School Campus on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
• Start Time: Both races begin at 9:00am at the start line outside of Kottmeyer Stadium.
• Check-In: Begins at 8:00am outside of Kottmeyer Stadium.
• Parking: Available in the lot by the tennis courts at Downingtown West High School.

Logistics

• Restrooms: Available inside of Kottmeyer Stadium.
• Course: The Race Course is generally flat and beginner-friendly.
• Restrictions: No Animals allowed on the course, sorry!
• Awards: Given to top male and female finishers.

Post-Race Activities

• Ceremony: Raffle Basket and Awards Ceremony will begin around 10:00am.
• Tickets: Bring money/venmo for raffle tickets!
• Registration: Register by April 12, 2026 to guarantee a race day t-shirt!
• Community: Join to support a POWERFUL cause and strengthen community spirit.
