Race Description

• First of its Kind: A unique half marathon in the quad city areas of Northern Minnesota's Iron Range.
• Start Location: Participants will meet at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota.
• Transport: Buses will transport participants to the Mesabi Trail headquarters in Eveleth, Minnesota.
• Course: Begins at Eveleth and continues through the North woods, passing through Gilbert and into Virginia, with the iconic Thomas Rukavina Memorial bridge.

Awards

• Results: Official results and age division awards will be based on your chip time.
• Age Divisions: 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99.
• T-Shirt Deadline: To receive a race t-shirt, you must be registered by July 31st!

5k Event

• Event Date: Friday evening prior to the half marathon.
• Location: Begins and ends at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center.
• Timing: This is a timed event with the same age divisions as the half marathon.
• Fun Factor: Join us for some fun to kick off the big half marathon weekend!

Kids Run

• Date: August 14th
• Time: FREE kids run starts at 5pm.
• 5k Start Time: 5k will be at 6pm.
• Location: Iron Trail Motors Event Center.
