Fair on the Square Half Marathon & 5K

The Fair on the Square Half Marathon & 5K Presented by Hendricks Regional Health is located on the beautiful Courthouse Square in Danville. Our event kicks off the annual Fair on the Square Fall Festival allowing runners to enjoy the festivities and festival offering from traditional small-town vendors. Crafts, foods, apparel and one-of-a-kind offerings will make you smile. The Courthouse Square is so unique that Hollywood filmed the Fall Festival for the movie Mayberry the week prior to our event in 2019. Join us: it is worth the trip.

• Scenic Course: One of the most country-scenic Half Marathon courses you can run in the Indianapolis metro area.
• Finish Festivities: Fair food at the finish + Beer Garden.
• Hydration: Water stations every 2 miles.
• Timing: Chip timing system (Half Marathon & 5K).

• Entertainment: Music at the start/finish.
• Awards: Age group Winner Awards/Prizes and Overall Awards (Half Marathon & 5K = Custom Trophies & Pint Glasses).
• Finisher Medals: Fair on the Square Medals for all finishers.
• Shirts: Fair on the Square Sublimated Shirts.

• Start Times: Half Marathon Starts at 8:00 AM, 5K Starts at 8:15 AM.

📅Packet Pick-Up and Event Schedule

Friday (Sept. 5) - Early Packet Pickup:

• Time: 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Danville Athletic Club, 49 North Wayne St., Danville, IN, 46122.
• Note: This is not the location of the event start/finish.
• Picking Up for Others: Yes, we allow packet pickup for others.

Saturday - Race Day! (Sept. 6)

• Time: 6:30 - 8:00 AM Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration (NOTE: Race day pickup is located by the start/finish location on the Courthouse Square at the intersection of Marion and Washington Streets).
• Half Marathon Start: 8:00 AM.
• 5K Start: 8:15 AM.
• 5K Awards: 9:30 AM – located at the Photo Backdrop next to the Hendricks Regional Health Tent.
• Half Marathon Awards: 10:30 AM - same location as above.
