Welcome to the Blue Sky Trail Marathon &: Half, Fort Collins's original and only trail marathon.
🏞️ Course Details
- Location: Trails between Horsetooth Mountain Park and the Devil's Backbone Open Space.
- Distance: Marathon - 3,500 feet of elevation gain/loss: Half Marathon - 1,800 feet of elevation gain/loss.
- Suitability: Designed for both veteran trail runners and those new to trail racing.
- Time Limit: Generous nine-hour cut-off to ensure a successful day for all participants.
🌲 Terrain Information
- Surface: 100% dirt and 90% singletrack.
- Difficulty: Ranges from smooth dirt trail to technical rock gardens.
- Road Access: Small portions on smooth dirt road (no motor vehicle access) and gravel bike path.
- Highlight: Beautiful and distinctive redstone hardpack of the Blue Sky Trail.
