Dragons in the Woods

Event Overview

Dragons In The Woods is in its 13th season! We are excited to be back in 2026! The race will again be run on the majestic trails of Birchfield Park, in Holt. This challenging trail run is great for the seasoned runner or for families who want to walk/run together. All proceeds from the race benefit Island City Academy, a charter school in Eaton Rapids. Come out and join us Saturday, October 17th and compete for your chance to win one of four, awesome trophies!

Pricing

• Early Registration: $25 until 10/04
• Final Registration: $30 until 10/16
• Shirt Guarantee: Register by 10/08 for a guaranteed race shirt
• Shirt Availability: Supplies available as they last after 10/08

Group/Family Pricing

• Group Rate: Sign up to 4 participants for only $85 until 10/04
• Group Price Increase: $95 from 10/05 until 10/16

Awards

• Categories: Overall and Masters (40 and up), male and female
• Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61 and over
• Top Finishers: Pint glasses to the top three male and female in each age group

Packet Pick-up

Packet Pick-up will begin at 8:00 am on the day of the race.

Timing and Results

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and live on this website.
