🏞️ Event Overview

AZAK Event Co. is bringing trail racing and trail events to Western Arizona in our hometown of Lake Havasu City, AZ. This is a city known for its love of outdoor recreation. We are kicking things off with our inaugural event, that will introduce runners, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to the Lizard Peak Scramble comprised of three race options. This trio of races offers you the opportunity to choose between a short, yet challenging 10k/5k trail run and scramble to the summit of the infamous Lizard Peak or a cruise on our Heart Attack Hill 5k fun run loop. In addition, we have added a Kids 1k Dirt Dash so the little ones can get in on the action.

🌄 Event Highlights

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ, nestled on the shores of the beautiful Colorado River.
• Trail Options: Over 80 miles of pristine BLM multi-use, non-motorized, desert trails.
• Timing: Events will be chip timed, giving accurate times and results for all participants.
• Finisher Medals: Earn a finisher medal when you cross the finish line!

👕 Inaugural Event Details

Inaugural event shirt sales will benefit A Clear Path Forward, a firefighter peer-driven non-profit, addressing firefighter mental health and wellness.

• Accessibility: The Heart Attack Hill event is walker/hiker friendly.
• Pet Policy: Unfortunately, no furry friends are allowed.
• Group Participation: Grab your family, friends and coworkers and join us for a great morning of trail races.
• Mindset: Remember the real race is YOU vs YOU. So let’s get outside and have some fun.
