🏔️ Event Overview

AZAK Event Co. is bringing trail racing and trail events to Western Arizona in our hometown of Lake Havasu City, AZ. This is a city known for its love of outdoor recreation. We are kicking things off with our inaugural event, that will introduce runners, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts to the Lizard Peak Scramble comprised of three race options:

• Options: Choose between a short, yet challenging 10k/5k trail run and scramble to the summit of the infamous Lizard Peak or a cruise on our Heart Attack Hill 5k fun run loop.
• Kids Race: In addition, we have added a Kids 1k Dirt Dash so the little ones can get in on the action.

🌄 Location Highlights

Nestled on the shores of the beautiful Colorado River, Lake Havasu City boasts over 80 miles of pristine BLM multi-use, non-motorized, desert trails. Our events are set to be the first in a new series of races coming to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and we're pumped:

• Chip Timed: These events will be chip timed, giving everyone from serious runners to our new trail runners accurate times and results.
• Finisher Medals: Did we mention finisher medals? That's right! Select your race, save the date, hit the dirt, cross the finish line, and collect your finishers medal.
• Charity Support: Inaugural event shirt sales will benefit A Clear Path Forward, a firefighter peer-driven non-profit, addressing firefighter mental health and wellness.

See each individual event for details and start times. The Heart Attack Hill event is most definitely walker/hiker friendly. Unfortunately, no furry friends allowed. So grab your family, friends, and coworkers, and let's get on the dirt for a great morning of trail races:

• Challenge Yourself: Remember, the real race is YOU vs YOU. So let's get outside and have some fun.
