TROT returns to the pines of Mission Tejas November 15th, 2025!

🏃‍♂️ Race Distances

• Options: 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k
• Location: MISSION TEJAS STATE PARK, GRAPELAND, TEXAS

🔨 Park Updates

The park has been undergoing some important infrastructure upgrades the past two years which have prevented us from hosting our annual Mission Tejas event but we are excited to be back in the Fall of 2025.

• Access: The park is still open for day use during construction.
• Check: Always check state park websites before visiting a park to ensure no other closures or access requirements.

🏞️ Trail Details

The Mission Tejas trails are a great mix of straw pine-laced single track, winding downhills, and fun CCC-built rock stairs.

• Course: You will be climbing towards the front of the park and descending on your return, so prepare for some vert.

🎪 Event Amenities

The event has typically hosted 5k, 10k, 25k, and 50k races over two 5k loops.

• Review: Once the park is back open we will review the course options and open registration.
• Camping: We also typically host FREE TENT CAMPING both FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!
