Miwok 100K

The Miwok 100K presented by The North Face is one of the most beautiful and iconic trail ultramarathons in the world. We believe everyone deserves a shot at something extraordinary. The Miwok100K is about the everyday runner who shows up ready to dig deep on some of the most breathtaking trails around. Set in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco, The Miwok 100K offers 62 miles of gorgeous trails, over 11,000 feet of gain, and nonstop views, from redwoods to ridge lines to crashing coastal cliffs.

The course features single-track trails and dirt roads with about a mile of paved road. The race is competitive at the front, and a rewarding challenge for all. Less than an hour from San Francisco, the Start/Finish is in the town of beautiful Stinson Beach, nestled against Mount Tamalpais, with its excellent cafés, a small market, lodging, and more.

Course marking is excellent, and you’ll be supported by some of the best volunteers on a race course anywhere. We hire professional medical for all aid stations for those occasional skinned knees and such. Our 2027 runners will receive a custom Miwok 100K finisher’s medal and a Miwok 100K sweatshirt.
