Miwok 100K Race Description

The Miwok 100K is one of the most beautiful and iconic trail ultramarathons in the world. We believe everyone deserves a shot at something extraordinary. The Miwok 100K is about the everyday runner who shows up ready to dig deep on some of the most breathtaking trails around. Set in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco, The Miwok 100K offers 62 miles of gorgeous trails, over 11,000 feet of gain, and nonstop views, from redwoods to ridge lines to crashing coastal cliffs.

Course Overview

• Trail Type: The course features single-track trails and dirt roads with about a mile of paved road.
• Competitive: The race is competitive at the front, and a rewarding challenge for all.
• Location: Less than an hour from San Francisco, the Start/Finish is in the town of beautiful Stinson Beach, nestled against Mount Tamalpais.
• Amenities: Excellent cafés, a small market, lodging, and more are available in Stinson Beach.

Support and Safety

• Course Marking: Course marking is excellent, ensuring runners stay on track.
• Volunteers: You'll be supported by some of the best volunteers on a race course anywhere.
• Medical Support: We hire professional medical for all aid stations for those occasional skinned knees and such.
• Finisher's Gear: Our 2026 runners will receive a custom Miwok 100K finisher’s medal and a Miwok 100K sweatshirt.

Participation Options

• Option 1: Miwok 100K on May 2, 2026 (When the race is full, you will be placed on a Waitlist. Your card will not be charged until you are offered a spot, and accept it. Registered runners who drop prior to February 1 will receive a $110 (40%) refund.)
• Option 2: Miwok 100K on May 2, 2026, PLUS a 16 week training plan from coach & Race Director Magda Boulet.
• Option 3: Miwok 100K Team Relay on May 2, 2026 (must have 4 participants per relay).
