Moab Trail Marathon

EVENT INFORMATION

• Race Date: November 7th & 8th, 2026
• Half Marathon: USATF National Championship designation for Saturday
• Sunday Option: Participants can run the 1/2 marathon on either Saturday or Sunday
• Marathon Events: Marathon, 10K, and Kids K offered on Saturday only

RACE DETAILS

• Sunday 1/2 Marathon: Added due to early fill-up of Saturday's race
• Registration Notice: Expect Saturday’s races to fill by early June
• Waitlist: Available for Saturday races
• Entry Fee: Sunday’s fee is considerably less

LOCATION

• Venue: Kane Creek Canyon area near Moab, Utah

DIRECTIONS TO RACE VENUE

• From Main Street: Head south, turn right on Kane Creek Blvd at McDonald's
• Stay Left: At the fork after about a mile to continue on Kane Springs Road
• Colorado River: Follow alongside it for just over 3 miles to dirt road
• Packet Pickup: Parking just beyond the venue area between 2pm and 6pm on Friday

RACE DAY PARKING

• No On-Site Parking: Shuttle service required for all participants
• Shuttle Location: Leaves from south side of HMK Elementary School
• Parking Options: Available at the school, Swanny Park, and nearby streets
• Private Property: Do not park on private property

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

• Registration Platform: Register at RunSignUp.com
• Limit: First 900 to sign up for each day
• Early Registration: Recommended to secure a spot
• Elite Runners: Contact race director for special considerations

REGISTRATION INCLUDES

• Course: Fully marked with chip timing
• Participants' Perks: T-shirt, goodie bag, aid stations, post-event snacks
• Finishers' Awards: Medal and mug, prizes for top finishers
• Cash Purse: $6600 shared between top Half Marathon Finishers

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

• Donation: A portion of your entry fee supports local non-profits
• Beneficiaries: Humane Society of Moab Valley, Grand County Search & Rescue
• Additional Support: Trail Mix, Community Rebuilds
