Course Description
- Terrain: Single track dirt trails and mowed meadow trails
- Scenery: Challenging hills with beautiful scenery
- Historical Sites: Pass by old stage coach trails, a cemetery, and an old train depot
- Loop Structure: Three 8.8 mile loops with distance options available
Race Options
- 1/3 Mazathon: One loop for 8.8 miles
- 2/3 Mazathon: Two loops for 17.6 miles
- Full Mazathon: Three loops for 26.2 miles
- Finisher Medals: Awarded to all distance finishers
Aid Stations
- Locations: Two fully stocked and manned aid stations
- Hydration: Water and HAMMER HEED available
- Liquids: You must carry your own drinking device: no drinking glasses provided
- Nutritional Options: Variety of items including pb&j sandwiches, trail mix, bananas
Packet Pick-Up
- Timing: 4-8pm on July 31 or 5-7:30am on race day
- Location: Conservation Center at Moorehead Park
- Mandatory Meeting: 7:45am before race start at 8:00am
- Course Closure: All runners must be off the course by 10:00pm
Pasta Meal
- Time: Available from 5:30-7:30 on July 31
- Location: Conservation Center
- Donation: Free will donation for the meal
- Beverages: Water and iced tea provided

- Proceeds: Donated to the Ida County Conservation Foundation
- Registration: Non-refundable and non-transferable
