Event Overview

• Race Date: September 13, 2026
• Location: Oak Openings Metropark, Whitehouse, OH
• Distances: 25K and 5K (walkers are welcome)

Race Details

• Course: Beautiful trails passing through hardwood and pine forests, open prairie, and along stream sides.
• Start/Finish: All races begin and end at the Buehner Center next to Mallard Lake.
• Sustainable Practices: We will use Hydrapak reusable cups to minimize waste.
• Packet Pickup: Early pickup on September 12th from 3 - 5 p.m. and on race day from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Toledo Roadrunners Club Trail Series

• Series Events: Includes Marsh Madness 10K, Towpath Trail Half Marathon, and Falling Leaves 5K.
• Member Discounts: $5 discount for current Toledo Roadrunners members.
• Multi-Race Discount: Sign up for all four races for $2 off each entry.
• Giveaway: Participants will receive a Trail Race Series giveaway at the end of the series.

Proceeds and Donations

• Supported Charity: Proceeds support SewHope, aiding health and community support in northern Guatemala.
• Direct Donations: You can also donate directly during registration.
• T-Shirt Deadline: Guaranteed t-shirt deadline is August 30, 2026.
• HydraPak Discount: Registered runners receive a 20% discount code for HydraPak products via email.

Race Day Information

• Start Times: 25K at 9:00 a.m. and 5K at 9:15 a.m.
• Course Markings: 25K marked with pink flags, 5K with white flags.
• Parking: Limited parking at Buehner Center: carpooling is encouraged.
• Aid Stations: Well-stocked with water, sports drinks, and Honey Stinger Gels.

Post-Race Amenities

• Post-Race Food: Available inside the Buehner Center, alcoholic beverages are allowed.
• Lodging Options: Nearby Day's Inn, camping available at the campground.
• Awards: Given for overall performance, age group awards in 10-year increments, 3 places deep.
• Trail Etiquette: Reminder to yield to horses, bikes, and fellow runners.
