Event Overview

The Philmont Trail Race supports Philmont Scout Ranch and Scouting America in providing its mission to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oat and Law. Proceeds from the race benefit Philmont Scout Ranch.

• Size: 140,000 acres
• Trails: Over 300 miles
• Programs: Includes 12, 9, and 7 day backpacking treks for scouts ages 13 to 21.
• Activities: Climbing, shooting, biking, living history, fishing, and more.
