T-shirts

• Not included: T-shirts are not included in pre-registration this year.
• Pricing: We lowered the price and have t-shirts as an add on during the registration process.
• Pickup: T-shirts paid for before May 20th will be available for pickup at the race. Those purchased afterwards will be available for pickup at Big Tyme in Dillon or can be shipped for a small shipping fee.

Event Details

• Collaboration: Beaverhead Trails Coalition (BTC) teamed up with the Beaverhead County High School (BCHS) Cross Country team in 2019.
• Annual Event: This is the 6th annual event featuring a 5K and 15K trail run located on the BTC’s High Trails just outside of Dillon.
• Start Location: In 2026 we are moving our race start to our new West Trailhead!
• Community Experience: Plan a weekend in Dillon, MT to attend this race and enjoy our trails.

Course Overview

• Terrain: The Pronghorn Pursuit, exclusively off-pavement, meanders through the gorgeous sagebrush hills of the High Trails System.
• Views: Spectacular views of the Beaverhead River Valley below.
• 15K Challenge: 90% single-track and 2400’ of climbing, with a great mix of steep climbs and technical descents.
• 5K Experience: Similar technical mix and views, with climbs over 500’, and the last kilometer being all downhill and smiles.

Community and Recreation

• Local Culture: Dillon is a fun-loving and hard-working community in Beaverhead County.
• Outdoor Activities: Home to a truly diverse group of Montanans and plenty of outdoor recreation.
• Local Businesses: A thriving small town that supports various small businesses, including flower shops, bookstores, and coffee shops.

• Food and Awards: Food and awards will follow the races at the Trailhead. Runners are admitted free. Spectators pay $5.00.
• Packet Pickup: Early Race Packet pick-up and late registration will be the day before the race from 4pm to 6pm at the Patagonia Outlet store.
• Race Day Registration: Must be completed 30 minutes before the race begins. The races will be chip timed by Butte Track Club.
