JOIN US on Saturday, June 28th for the 10th annual Independence Day 5k/1K! You will have the awesome experience of running to celebrate America's birthday. The 5K will take you through the streets of Cumming. All NEW course for 2025 the start and finish are at the same location.

🗓️ Event Details and Schedule

• Race Start Time: 8:00am 5K
• Approx 1K Start: 9:00am
• Cost: 5K - $25.00 until June 10th at 11:59pm: $27.00 from June 11th until June 21st at 11:59pm: $30.00 from June 22nd to race day.
• 1K Cost: $15.00 till June 21st at 11:59pm, then $20.00 till race day. Tot-Trot Free!

🏃 Course Information

• 5K Course: The 5K will take you through the streets of Cumming. ALL NEW course for 2025 the start and finish are at the same location. Downhill to Flat finish.
• 1K Fun Run: 1K Fun Run and Tot Trot at the start/finish line on Almon Hill Drive.

🎽 Packet Pick-Up

RACE DAY Packet Pickup/Registration will begin at 6:30 am, on Almon C Hill Drive (in Front of The Almon C Hill Center).

👕 T-Shirts

All participants registered by June 17th will be guaranteed a T-Shirt. Participants registered June 18 and later will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. YOU NOW HAVE A CHOICE between Women's Racerback Tank or Unisex T.

🅿️ Free Parking

The Castleberry parking deck one block away from start/finish line at 330 W Maple St. and one parking deck beside the county Admin Building at 215 Mason St.

❤️ Race Purpose (Our Cause)

Our fundraising goals for 2025 are to help local disadvantaged adolescents by giving them the opportunity to join local Cross country and or school track or XC programs that otherwise their parents or guardian wouldn’t be able to afford.

🏆 Post Race

• Awards: Awards for Overalls, Masters and age group medals 1st, 2nd and 3rd starting at age 10 and under to 70+ (5-year increments)
• Finishing Medals: DIE CAST FINISHING MEDALS FOR ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS.
