The Great Jones County 5K Fair Race, held in collaboration with Monticello Parks and Recreation, offers a one-of-a-kind route that winds around the fairgrounds, past the livestock barns, and along the track, giving runners an early morning's taste of fair excitement. The course continues past the scenic Monticello Golf Course and through Riverside Gardens, showcasing some of the area’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. Whether you're aiming for a PR or just enjoying the fun, this race is a perfect addition to fair week festivities. Come run with us and experience the fair like never before! The proceeds from this 5K race will directly support adult programming and events in our community year-round.

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male/female in each race and age category:

• Age Categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older
