Red River Ultrafest

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

'Red River Ultrafest' is Fargo/Moorhead's first ultramarathon.

Why are we putting this race on? Fargo/Moorhead needs a space for endurance athletes to push themselves. This is that opportunity.

🏅 Race Description

• Max distance: in one of the following time domains: (prices will increase as we near the event start)
• Options:
  • 3 hours ($75 + fees)
  • 6 hours ($100 + fees)
  • 12 hours ($125 + fees)
• Racing categories: for each time domain
• Types:
  • Run/Walk
  • Ruck (45lbs for men/ 35lbs for women) racer must supply their pack with proper weights

🎽 Registration Includes

• Race T-shirt: All participants will receive a race t-shirt.
• Finishers Award: Celebrate your accomplishment!
• Finish Pizza: Enjoy pizza at the finish line.
• Snack Fuel: All of the snacks and fuel you could want at the aid station.

Run/Ruck on Saturday Sept. 20th, 2025:

• 6:00 am: Registration Opens
• 7:00 am: 12-Hour Race Begins
• 8:00 am: 6-Hour Race Begins
• 9:00 am: 3-Hour Race Begins
• 12:00 pm: 3-Hour Race Finish/Awards
• 2:00 pm: 6-Hour Race Finish/Awards
• 7:00 pm: 12-Hour Race Finish/Awards

🏞️ Course Description

The course will start in Gooseberry on trails, then move across the bridge into Lindenwood, head north to Dike East, then back to Gooseberry. In total, each lap would be 5 miles.

🍏 Best Aid Station Ever

We will ensure that our main aid station is one of the best you will experience at any race. Please bring a collapsible cup if you have one. Limited cups will be available at the event. There will be a lightly stocked water station at the turnaround point.
