Carmela’s Heart Foundation is honored to present the third annual Love in Action 5K & 10K Run. New this year is the 1K Walk—a meaningful and enjoyable way for families to come together and make a difference for children in need.

Join us! With God’s grace we can put Love in Action to bring relief and hope to many children in extreme poverty, living circumstances of famine and disease.

• Where: Vista View Park
• Address: 4001 SW 142nd Ave, Davie, FL US 33330
• Description: Love in Action 5k Run / 1K Walk

📅 Date & Time

• When: Saturday, October 25th @ 7:00am

🕒 Schedule of Events

• 6:00AM: Vista View Park opens for participants to arrive
• 6:00AM: Packet Pickup opens
• 7:00AM: Packet Pickup closes
• 8:00AM: Race after party with music, refreshments and vendor exhibition begins

🔍 Race Details

• Parking: Available on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
• Packet Pickup: Designated area with no on-site registration.
• The Course: 5K route winds around two hills: 10K features a second loop.
• Awards: Top finishers and age group placements awarded (must be present).

🚗 Directions

Vista View Park is in western Broward County.

From the East: Take 595 West to exit 2 & 3 towards Hiatus Road...

From the South: Take I75 North to Griffin Road...

From the North: Take I75 South to Griffin Road...

From the West: Take I75 South and exit at Griffin Road...

Please plan to arrive early to allow for delays entering the park.

🌐 Virtual 5K

Register for the Virtual 5K before Oct. 25, 2025. Complete a 5K (3.1 miles) at your convenience anytime and anywhere.
