Dragon trails Summer Edition (Half Marathon, 10k, 5K)

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Are you ready to test your limits, your strength, your tenacity and to accomplish one of the hardest races of your life? Well you have come to the right place. Dragon trails will challenge you through the trails at Pearsall Park. We have three races for you to choose from:

🏆 Great Dragon Half Marathon

This choice and the most challenging is the Great Dragon Half Marathon Trail race which has a 2-loop course through the front hills of the dragon trails and then you follow it to the back trails which are nicer to travel but are relenting with the heat.

• Course Details: 2-loop course through the front hills and back trails.
• Water Stops: Water and Gatorade at every mile.
• Challenge Level: Designed to test endurance and strength.

🔥 Ultimate Dragon 10K

The second choice will be the Ultimate Dragon 10K which consists of almost all the same course as the 1st loop of the 25k: the only difference is it turns around early near the 7th waterstop.

• Course Similarity: Follows the first loop of the Half Marathon.
• Elevation: Tons of hills challenge every contender.
• Distance: Shorter race but just as demanding.

🐉 San Antonio's Toughest 5K

This third option features nearly 100 feet of climbing through each kilometer. This race will definitely make every other 5K you have ever run seem like a walk in the park.

• Elevation Gain: Nearly 100 feet of climbing per kilometer.
• Trail Experience: True trail racing without the longer distance.
• Challenge Factor: Designed to be tough for all participants.

🎖️ Post-Race Benefits

All runners will receive the following:

• Race Medal: Specific event medal or finisher tile.
• Race Singlet: Singlet with the race logo.
• Post-Race Meal: Enjoy a taco breakfast.
• Official Timing: Timed by Best Race Timers IAAP.

🏅 Awards and Entertainment

We will have age group awards for all events starting from 19 and under going up to 70 plus, with 10-year increments for 1st place. We will also feature:

• DJ and Announcer: Our amazing DJ Dragon will ensure a great after-race party.
• Photography: Capture your moments with J&B Photography.
