🌳 Event Overview

It's RidgeWalk time! We are very excited to welcome you back for our annual Fall RidgeWalk and Run event for our 33rd year!

The 33rd Annual RidgeWalk & Run Event, located in beautiful southwestern New York State takes place each fall as the hillsides are turning into a kaleidoscope of rich reds, oranges and yellows. Our event encompasses many events so if you are looking for a casual stroll through the woods or prefer a competitive long run we are just what you are looking for.

This year's RidgeWalk & Run event is an in-person event however we will continue to offer an at home (virtual) option for those who are not able to participate in-person.

📝 Participation Options

IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION

• Registration: Select the event you would like to participate in and complete your registration electronically through this site. Follow the prompts to complete your registration.
• Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete.

AT HOME PARTICIPATION

• Registration: Select the Home Edition registration option and follow the prompts to complete your registration.
• Distance: Complete your selected distance anytime between October 11th – October 19th.
• Trail Encouragement: We highly encourage that in the spirit of the RidgeWalk you do this on trails, however we recognize that may not be possible for everyone.
• Community Sharing: Take pictures and share them and your story with the rest of the community!
• Past Swag: Be sure to show off your past RidgeWalk swag!
• Tag Us: Post them to our Instagram at #ridgewalkrun.
• Facebook: Find us on Facebook at “Ridgewalk & Run” and share them with the community.
• Email Us: Send them to us along with your story via Facebook message or email (RidgeWalk@urmc.rochester.edu) and we will post them to both locations.
• Distance Confirmation: Send us confirmation that you completed your distance.
• Email Instructions: Email instructions will follow for this as we are hoping to use RunSignUp to complete this.
• T-shirt: We will send you the 33rd Annual RidgeWalk t-shirt! T-shirt mailing will be within 6 weeks of the event.

💖 Community Contribution

Remember, all proceeds from the RidgeWalk & Run still go to supporting our local community wellness initiatives in Allegany County.

🥇 Championship Details

USATF Niagara Association Championships: The Ridge Walk and Run 25km will serve as the 2025 USATF Niagara Open and Masters Trail Championships. The race will also be part of the 2025 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series and Team Grand Prix Series.
