Course Information

  • Start: The race begins at the corner of N Cravens and W Main St.
  • Finish: The race finishes on N Cravens.
  • Awards: Starts at 9:00 AM for Overall Male and Female Finishers, Masters, Grand Masters, and Seniors.
  • Age Divisions: Awards for male and female age divisions from 1-14 to 80+

Logistics

  • Packet Pickup: Morning of the race from 5:30 AM to 6:45 AM.
  • Race Start: 7:00 AM, promptly to beat the heat.
  • Registration: Register before July 6, 11:59 PM CST to guarantee a shirt and medal.
  • Same Day Registration: Available from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM for $40 (cash, check, or Cash App).

Timing and Challenge

  • Timing: Chip timing with bibs assigned on the day of the race.
  • Wear Bib: Make sure to wear your bib on the front mid-center for best readings.
  • Beat the Heat Challenge: Participate in both the Brent Morrison Memorial 8k on July 11th and the Peach Fest 4 Miler.
  • Finishing Prize: Completers will receive a limited-edition Beat the Heat Challenge Coin.
