Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run 5k

Race Overview

The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk 5K is on July 4, 2027. Our unique race features squirt gun-wielding volunteers along the route, letting participants beat the heat as we celebrate our nation's birth!

Registration

• Start Time: Registration begins at 7:00AM at Adams Street near Croghan Bank, and the race starts promptly at 8:00AM.
• Course: Our scenic course takes participants along Lake Erie and through historic downtown Port Clinton.
• Location: Registration & Awards at Adams Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.

Course Details

• Type: Scenic, flat course along Lake Erie and throughout Port Clinton, Ohio.

Entry Fees

• Pre-registration: $35.00 (due by June 27, 2027 to receive a t-shirt and race bib).
• Day of Race: $40.00.
• Children: $20.00 for pre-registration (9 yrs. and younger).
• Children Day of Race: $25.00.

Awards

• Overall: 5k winners: Male & Female.
• Age Groups: First place male & female for 5k run - each age group.
• Walk: First place male & female for 5k walk - overall.

Age Divisions

• Young: 14 & under.
• Teen: 15-19.
• Adults: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.

Features

• Participants: T-shirts and bibs to all pre-registered participants on race day.
• Refreshments: Following the event.

All proceeds benefit Port Clinton Women's Club and their efforts to provide college scholarships to high school students in our area.
