Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run 5k

🎉 Race Overview

The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk 5K is on July 4, 2026. Our unique race features squirt gun-wielding volunteers along the route, letting participants beat the heat as we celebrate our nation's birth!

🕗 Registration Details

• Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Registration: Begins at 8:00 AM at Adams Street near Croghan Bank
• Location: 226 E Perry Street, Port Clinton, Ohio
• Course: Scenic course along Lake Erie and through historic downtown Port Clinton

💲 Entry Fees

• $35.00: Pre-registration due by June 23, 2026 to receive a tshirt and race bib
• $40.00: Day of Race
• $20.00: Pre-registration for ages 9 yrs. and younger
• $25.00: Day of Race for ages 9 yrs. and younger

🏆 Awards

• Overall Winners: Male & Female for the 5k
• First Place: Male & female for each age group in the 5k run
• First Place: Male & female for overall in the 5k walk
• Age Divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older

👕 Race Features

• T-Shirts: Provided to all pre-registered participants on race day
• Refreshments: Available following the event
• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit Port Clinton Women’s Club
• Scholarships: Funding for college scholarships to high school students in our area
