Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run 5k

Event Overview

The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk 5K is on July 4, 2027. Our unique race features squirt gun-wielding volunteers along the route, letting participants beat the heat as we celebrate our nation's birth!

Timing and Location

• Registration: Begins at 7:00 AM at Adams Street near Croghan Bank.
• Race Start: Starts promptly at 8:00 AM.
• Course: Scenic course takes participants along Lake Erie and through historic downtown Port Clinton.
• Location: 226 E Perry Street, Port Clinton, OH.

Entry Fees

• $35.00: Pre-registration due by June 27, 2027 to receive a t-shirt and race bib.
• $40.00: Day of Race.
• $20.00: Pre-registration for 9 years and younger.
• $25.00: Day of Race.

• Overall Winners: Male & Female.
• First Place for Age Groups: Male & Female for 5K run.
• First Place for Walk: Male & Female - overall.
• Age Divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.

Race Features

• T-shirts: To all pre-registered participants on race day.
• Refreshments: Available following the event.
• Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit Port Clinton Women's Club and their efforts to provide college scholarships to high school students in our area.
