2025 UWSP Homecoming 5K Walk/Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Organizer: This event is being hosted by the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Doctor of Physical Therapy Students partnered with the UWSP Homecoming Committee.
• Location: Join us on a scenic race, routing through Schmeeckle Reserve in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
• Participation: Run the 5K competitively or walk at your own pace and enjoy the outdoors.
• Proceeds: Funds will support the Marquette Challenge to advance physical therapy research.

🎉 Homecoming Celebration

• Pointer Pride: This 5K celebrates 2024 Homecoming Week, welcoming students, alumni, and community members.
• Homecoming Theme: The 2024 UWSP Homecoming theme is: Where Dawgs Become Gods.
• Football Game: Cheer on the UWSP Football Team at Goerke Field with kickoff at 1:00pm.
• More Activities: Visit local sponsor tables and partake in Homecoming festivities.

• Location: Parkway Shelter, Schmeeckle Reserve, Stevens Point, WI.
• Participant Limit: 200
• Cancellation Policy: In the event of race cancellation, there is a no refund policy.

📅 Day of Event Itinerary

• Registration Booth Opens: 9:00am
• National Anthem & Race Start: 10:00am
• Social: As participants finish
• Race & Social Ends: 11:30am

👕 Shirt and Donations

• Free Shirt: Each registration before 11:59pm CST on September 18th, 2024, will receive a free shirt.
• Purchase: Shirts will also be available for purchase at the event for $20.00.
• Shirt Design: The front design can be seen in the 2024 Map & Additional Info Album.
• Donations: Accepted online and at the event.
