Tahoe Forest Health System Fall Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ RACE DESCRIPTION

Join the Tahoe Forest Health System for our Fall Fun Run! Get your steps in by celebrating health and wellness during Walk-tober, try out your first 5k, or push it for a new PR. This family friendly race will start and finish at the Truckee Regional Park, taking you down on the Legacy Trail and along the beautiful Truckee River. Costumes are encouraged!

📅 EVENT SCHEDULE

• 7:30am to 8:30am: Packet/Bib pick up at the Truckee Regional Park Farmer's Market Lot
• 9:00am: All races begin, staggered by distance at the Truckee Regional Park Farmer's Market Lot
• 10:00am to 12:00pm: Music, Lunch for Purchase & Race Participant Beer or Hop Water from FiftyFifty
• 12:00pm: Races Conclude

🗺️ COURSE DETAILS

All Races will start and end in the wood chip parking lot at the Truckee Regional Park near the start of the disc golf course. The races will take place on the Legacy Trail, the 1 mile will contain a minor downhill section towards the river and uphill section back to the finish line, while the 5k and 10k will have an additional section of uphill/downhill on a dirt path.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

• Awareness: The race course WILL remain open to other pedestrians. Please be mindful of your surroundings and attentive/respectful of other Legacy Trail users.
• Pets: Please leave pets at home for this event. Participants will be asked to stay on the right side of this walking/bike path for the entire race.
• Facilities: There will be a water/first aid station available along the 5k and 10k course.
• Finisher Perks: All race participants will receive a finisher medal and a beer or NA beverage.
• Parking: Parking will be available, although limited, at the Truckee Regional Park – 10050 Brockway Rd, in Truckee, CA. Participants can also park near the Truckee Skate Park and Truckee Rodeo Grounds.
