25th Annual Irvington Turkey Trot & Animal Food Drive

🐾 About This Activity

Please help us raise money to help the dogs and cats in our area by supporting the Animal Welfare League and Garfield’s Rescue. Volunteers in both organizations have been serving the animals of Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond Counties. Please consider bringing dog and cat food to the Turkey Trot, using the gazebo as a drop-off location.

There will be No Race Day Registration

Scenic 2-mile & 5-mile run/walk loop through historic Irvington neighborhoods and suitable for your leashed, furry friends! A “must-do” event for families reuniting for the Thanksgiving holiday in Virginia's Northern Neck. Great community support and you are home by noon to enjoy your well-deserved Thanksgiving feast!

• Participants: All 2-mile and 5-mile participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last.
• Awards: Given to the top three male and female participants overall, and in various age groups.
• Tot Trot: Free (no-fee) Tot Trot for children at the Irvington Commons, no registration required.
• Safety: Please follow all COVID-19 recommended safe guidelines.
