25th Annual Irvington Turkey Trot & Animal Food Drive

🐾 About This Activity

Please help us raise money to help the dogs and cats in our area by supporting the Animal Welfare League and Garfield’s Rescue. Volunteers in both organizations have been serving the animals of Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond Counties. Please consider bringing dog and cat food to the Turkey Trot, using the gazebo as a drop-off location.

• Location: AWL is located at 75 South Main Street, Kilmarnock, Virginia 22482.

• Donations: Contributions of $20, $25, $30, or $50 are greatly appreciated.

🏃‍♂️ About This Race

Scenic 2-mile & 5-mile run/walk loop through historic Irvington neighborhoods and suitable for your leashed, furry friends! A “must-do” event for families reuniting for the Thanksgiving holiday in Virginia's Northern Neck. Great community support and you are home by noon to enjoy your well-deserved Thanksgiving feast!

• Distance: Choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile option.
• Registration: There will be no race day registration: sign up early.
• T-shirts: All participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last.
• Awards: Prizes for top three male and female participants overall and in various age groups.

There will be a free (no-fee) Tot Trot for the children at the Irvington Commons. No registration required. Tot Trot participants do not receive a Race T.
